It's true, well said letros
I've got a relatively similar spec as you; I don't expect to max the game out, and I honestly hope I don't. I want the game to be scalable so that 2-3 years down the road when better hardware is available, the game can still keep up with the best of them. Which probably will be the case since this is running on DX11...
@you, shreeveera, waltyftm...
It's called Tekken TAG Tournament meaning there are teams of TWO characters. This is not like Marvel Vs. Capcom.
Wow that's much earlier than I anticipated. I thought we wouldn't be seeing this until November at the least. Great news i can't wait
They've had a beta going on since July. The next beta phase will be open to more players. Blizzard already said that although they are trying to get it out before year's end, they won't commit to a release until the game is ready to be shipped.
I can only imagine how DICE is utilizing DX11, BF3 being one of the first games being built from the ground up under its api.
You just gotta get lucky with their games. My buddy played nearly every Blizzard game made, and didn't get into the SCII or Diablo III betas.
Was thinking the same thing, this guy is clueless
"...have 170 medic-related, 190 medkit-related & 227 revive/heal-related VO lines for MP in BF3"
wow
This game is going to be HUGE
That wasn't the issue, my friend's TV that we played on was some 50+ inches; I could see just fine. The problem was that the game sucked.
True, this may sound a bit crazy, but I'd honestly prefer a game built for future hardware, even if it means a slight expense of optimization. I'd like a game that keeps looking better the more you throw at it, but I'd also like it to be mostly compliant with today's hardware expectations. This way, we won't have to worry about comparing Battlefield 4 to 3 when it comes around, like we did with Crysis 1 and 2. (But obviously, not so un-optimized as the first Crysis.)
Ummn... why is everyone naming Trio's?
I played Resident Evil 5's campaign with a friend through split-screen, never played resi 4. All I can say is I really didn't like the game, it just felt too primitive and things got boring very quickly.
If you knew anything about RUF, you'd know other than the body, they are nothing alike.
I really enjoyed the online of Resistance:FOM, didn't play too much of the second. But I think the problem nowadays when you have 16 players is that it becomes very difficult to distinguish your game from others, as it is the "standard" online fps player count. When you have 40-64+ players, you're doing something different, as there are only a few games that attempt to build their games on that scale. I could only give a few examples of these games; Battlefield, frontlines, ...
Sonic Adventure 3
It's shaking here in North Carolina too...
I'm honestly very excited for this game, but why did we have to wait so long? (we still have to wait another year actually) I bought VF5 the day it came out way back in February of 2007. I know very well how FS plays and that it's really more like a sequel than a version update, but the wait has been unbearable for many fans
